The Orange Phone Shop at my local shopping centre had a make over. Just had to draw it again.
I like all the new phrases 'blog, chat, browse' & 'apps on tap' etc

Royal Victoria Hospital Foyer, Belfast

Was taking a friend to an appointment at the RVH Belfast, had a couple of hours to pass. Decided to sit in the Foyer and try to sketch this familiar scene. I enjoyed trying to capture the 'Starship Enterprise' style ceiling.

Phones4u, Bloomfields, Bangor, CoDown

I am interested in the growth of mobile phone shops in our high streets and malls.
I enjoy drawing them, and in the malls you dont have to worry about the rain.

Helens Bay, Belfast Lough

I bought a new watercolour set, and just had to try them out.
Nice just to sit on the beach and watch the sun go down too, very quiet and peaceful.
Still getting used to them, but plan to do a lot more quick sketches with them.
The palette in the box is quite large, and the box well designed.

Painting en plein air, Craigantlet.

This was a nice day, wee bit too hazy, had wanted to paint the Mourne mountains in the distance, but couldn't see them. So I opted for this view of Srabo instead. This is my oil painting set up.

Scrabo Tower from Dunlady Road, towards Craigantlet

This is a view I pass regularly by road, decided to stop and paint it today. It is a view of Scrabo Tower that is not painted too often.
